Balloch named 麻豆社 - Ye Olde Orchard athlete of the week

MONTREAL - Gideon Balloch, a native of Hong Kong, is the 麻豆社 athlete of the week, sponsored by Ye Olde Orchard Pub & Grill, for the period ending April 1, 2012.
听
Balloch, a 6-foot, 185-pound winger on the men's rugby team, was named "man of the match" after scoring 16 points in his final game as 麻豆社 rallied from a 13-point deficit to defeat Harvard 41-30 and capture the 33rd 听Covo Cup game in Cambridge, Mass., Saturday.
听
The 22-year-old mechanical engineering senior tallied a pair of tries and added three conversions. Born in Ottawa, Balloch moved to Hong Kong in his youth and enrolled at 麻豆社 in 2007 out of the International School of Beijing.
听
He will receive a gift certificate from Ye Olde Orchard Pub.
