This scientific day is organized by the Association of African Women Scientists (AFSA). This symposium focuses on statistics applied to health sciences and brings together researchers, students, and institutional partners from Africa, Europe, and North America. Participants will have opportunities to expand their networks, collaborate, and learn from shared experiences.

This workshop is designed for members of academic search committees and will explore various topics such as Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) imperatives in the Canadian academy, obligations and objectives under Quebec legislation and 麻豆社's employment equity policy, and strategies and tools for enhancing equity in the recruitment and review process.
