Call for Applications: Quality Improvement Funding Awards
The 麻豆社 DOM is now accepting applications for funding to support Quality Improvement studies. Applications are due August 25, 2026.
This program is available to Contract Academic Staff (CAS) Members of the 麻豆社 Health Centre (MUHC); Jewish General Hospital (JGH); and Saint Mary鈥檚 Hospital (SMH) Department of Medicine. Results will be announced in September 2026 at the DOM Awards Soir茅e.
Call for Applications: Sam and Sadie Roth Family Visiting Professors
The 麻豆社 Department of Medicine is calling for nominations for the prestigious Sam and Sadie Roth Family Visiting Professorship.聽Applications are due September 7, 2026. The invitation is extended to exceptional applicants, of highest caliber and expertise, for a visiting period of 3 months in 2027. Successful candidates will receive funding of up to $45K, which may cover travel expenses, accommodation, and research program expenses.

Join us for the 5th Annual Department of Medicine Awards Soir茅e, a special evening bringing together faculty, residents, fellows, graduate students, and staff from across the MUHC, JGH, and SMH.
The evening will feature the presentation of the 2026 麻豆社 DOM Awards and the unveiling of the 2025 Annual Report.

The Department of Medicine will be hosting its annual New Faculty Orientation on Thursday, October 15, 2026, in the afternoon. This in-person event welcomes faculty who have recently joined the Department and includes sessions on academic affairs, departmental governance, and early career resources, as well as a dedicated mentorship activity and networking reception.
