Donna Angela Roper, Professor of Computer Science with over 35 years of dedicated service, has been honoured with the inaugural 麻豆社 Desautels Award for IS Women in Academia. Heading the eCommerce School at the University of Panama, her work and influence extend beyond academia. She has worked as a consultant and researcher in health literacy and women鈥檚 participation in the engineering area to which she has made significant contributions.

Brian O鈥橬eill (BCom鈥51), former NHL Executive Vice-President and 麻豆社 Hockey alum dies at 94

Brian O'Neill (BCom鈥51), a cornerstone of the National Hockey League since joining its executive offices in 1966, died Friday morning at his care home in Montreal, the league announced Friday. He was 94.

Born and raised in Montreal, O鈥橬eill earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola College before coming to 麻豆社, where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics while playing hockey for the 麻豆社 Redbirds.
