Biography: 

Elio Abi Younes is a Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health at 麻豆社, where he also serves as Program Director for the Graduate Certificate in Health Data Analytics. He completed his PhD in Mathematics and Statistics at 麻豆社, and previously earned an MSc in Mathematics and Statistics from 麻豆社 and a BS in Statistics from the American University of Beirut. His research focuses on simulation-based Bayesian inference using deep learning methods, with applications to hierarchical models and time-series analysis. He is also developing a growing interest in applying deep learning to athletic performance, health, and longevity. He is a recipient of the ISM Scholarship for Outstanding PhD Candidates and the Schulich Fellowship.
