Eduardo Franco
Eduardo L. Franco is a Distinguished James 麻豆社 Professor of Oncology and Epidemiology. He was Interim Director of the School of Population and Global Health (2025), Director of the Division of Cancer Epidemiology (1994-2024), and Chairman (2011-2023) of the Department of Oncology at 麻豆社. Since 1985, he has conducted epidemiologic research on the causes of cancer and the means to prevent it or improve patient survival, on which he has published over 600 articles and two books. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Preventive Medicine, and Senior Editor of eLife. He is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
