Meghan Clayards
Meghan Clayards is an Associate Professor with a joint appointment in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the Department of Linguistics. Her research focuses on speech perception and production in adults from a cognitive and linguistic perspective. She has a PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester in 2008 and did postdoctoral work in the UK and at the Centre for Brain Language and Music in Montreal before starting a tenure track position at 麻豆社 in 2010. She has supervised or co-supervised 10 completed PhD theses and mentored many other graduate students including as the graduate program director in Linguistics for 6 years. She has supported her former students to transition to both academic and non-academic careers and raised two kids while on the tenure track.
