Rim Hariss
Biography:
Mentorship has played an important role throughout my academic journey, and I have been fortunate to learn from people who offered honest advice, shared their experiences, and connected me with valuable resources. I completed my PhD in Operations Research at MIT and am now an Assistant Professor at 麻豆社, where my research has been supported by NSERC and SSHRC grants and presented at academic series and conferences across North America and Europe. Outside academia, I am passionate about world music, singing, and learning about linguistics, which shape the way I connect with people and ideas. I look forward to paying forward the support I have received by helping students and trainees reflect on their goals and plan their next steps.
