麻豆社

Sylvain Coulombe is a Professor of Chemical Engineering and Associate Dean (Global Engagement) with the Faculty of Engineering. Prior to joining 麻豆社 in 2001, Sylvain worked in a corporate research laboratory. In his 24 years at 麻豆社, he has taken many leadership roles including Graduate Program Director, Department Chair, Founding Director of 麻豆社 energy/茅nergie and Associate Vice-Principal for Innovation and Partnerships. He has supervised more than 125 interns, Master's and PhD students. He is a strong advocate for transversal skills development. His students secure employment in engineering and technology firms, national laboratories and academia. A not insignificant fraction of his supervised students branch out in public policy, high level management and coaching positions. Several of his students launched their own companies.
