Tina Haliotis
Tina Haliotis is an Associate Professor of Pathology (post-retirement in 2024) at 麻豆社. After earning a Medical Degree at the National University of Athens, Greece, she moved to Canada where she completed a PhD in anti-tumor Immunology, at Queen鈥檚, followed by a 3-year postdoctoral Fellowship at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute, University of Toronto, where she focused her work on Signal Transduction. She returned to Queen鈥檚, as a Queen鈥檚 National Scholar, where she ran her own basic research lab for 6 years. Aiming to integrate her research experience with the practice of medicine, she completed a Residency program in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology, followed by a 2-year Clinical & Research Fellowship in the subspecialty of Hematopathology, at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Haliotis maintains a genuine love of teaching and mentoring and would be pleased to share her multifaceted experiences with anyone that thinks they could match his/her needs as mentee.
