DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this program is to foster the emergence of new r
 esearch niches in all scientific fields covered by FRQNT and enhance the a
 bility of Quebec researchers to compete in federal competitions by carryin
 g out innovative projects\; to promote the pooling of researchers with the
  complementary expertise needed to carry out a research project\, and to p
 rovide a conducive environment to high-caliber student training and superv
 ision.\n\nResearchers with projects in the natural sciences\, mathematical
  sciences and engineering who are planning to apply to the upcoming FRQNT 
 Team Research Project competition (2020-2021) are encouraged to attend thi
 s information session\, which will include:\n\nA presentation about the ob
 jectives and application requirements of the FRQNT Team Grants program by 
 Alison Glaser and Michelle Picard-Aitken\, Senior Grants and Agreement Off
 icers\, OSR\;\n	A presentation on tips and best practices  from previous su
 ccessful FRQNT Team grant applicants\;\n	A question and answer period where
  participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have abou
 t the program or the application process.\n		Those who are unable to attend 
 or who wish to provide their questions in advance are invited to send thei
