AES Researcher Daiva Nielsen Receives ASN's Mead Johnson Award

Daiva Nielsen, Associate Professor in the School of Human Nutrition and Scientific Director of the Clinical Nutrition Research Unit (CNRU), has been selected to receive the Mead Johnson Award from the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) and the ASN Foundation.

Meet Ryan Dvorak, Faculty of Education's valedictorian for this year's convocation. The Faculty's second valedictorian from the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, Ryan, who has earned his B.Sc. (Honours), will have a personal story to share with us and some words of wisdom the entire audience will be able to learn from. In an interview with the �鶹�� Reporter, Ryan said support from family, professors and peers shaped both his academic and personal growth.

Professor Marcin Sabok awarded the Ryll-Nardzewski Prize (2026)

We are delighted to announce that Marcin Sabok has been awarded the Ryll-Nardzewski Prize.

The prize was established to honour the great Polish mathematician Czesław Ryll-Nardzewski, and is awarded by the Ryll-Nardzewski Center at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The prize is for outstanding achievements in mathematics in areas related to the work of Ryll-Nardzewski.

�鶹��’s annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) and Ma thèse en 180 secondes (MT180) competitions showcased the diversity of graduate research, with finalists presenting complex topics in just three minutes to a general audience. Held on April 1 at the Faculty Club, the event highlighted research ranging from neuroscience and mental health to musicology and ecology.
