Participants will be given an empowering space to practice their writing, with a focus on positive feedback, mindfulness, and deep listening. Explore your authentic voice and invite your inner genius out in this brave space centered in nature, storytelling, and belonging!

Prof. Caroline Riches, from The Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), is proud to announce that Albert Maganaka, a doctoral candidate in Educational Studies, will be defending their dissertation on August 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM in EDUC 233.

The topic of their dissertation is: "Community Autonomy as Pedagogy: Learning and Teaching in a Community-Based English as an Additional Language Program in Québec".
