There are four ways to borrow material not available at the Â鶹Éç Libraries.

1. Request physical items from Quebec university libraries: Network Loan

Â鶹Éç faculty, students, and staff can now borrow physical items belonging to Quebec university libraries by requesting them through the library catalogue (Sofia). 

2. Borrow in person at other universities

Â鶹Éç students, faculty, and staff may borrow in person at all Quebec university libraries with their Â鶹Éç ID card, and may obtain borrowing privileges at participating Canadian university libraries with a valid Â鶹Éç ID card.

3. Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to obtain books, journal articles and other types of documents that are not owned in the collections of the Â鶹Éç Libraries.

4. Borrow in person at Montreal public libraries
