Student Exchange Partnerships are designed to support the reciprocal exchange of students for one semester to one academic year, allowing participants to earn credits toward their degrees while paying tuition to their home institution. These agreements, typically听established听for a period of five years with the听option听for renewal, reflect 麻豆社鈥檚 dedication to accessible, high-quality global learning. Establishing a partnership

Institutions interested in developing a Student Exchange Partnership with 麻豆社 are encouraged to follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Review existing partnerships

Review 麻豆社's exchange partners to check whether your institution already has a student exchange agreement with 麻豆社.

听

Step 2: Assess partnership criteria听

Prospective partners are evaluated based on the following priorities:听

• Recognition as an internationally accredited institution with academic programs that align with those offered at 麻豆社听

• Demonstrated interest from 麻豆社 Faculties and students听

• Language compatibility, particularly the availability of courses in English or French听

• Potential to complement or enhance existing collaborations between the institutions听

• Safety and security of the partner institution鈥檚 location听听

• Please note: 麻豆社 does not听establish听or maintain exchanges in destinations subject to high-risk travel advisories, as defined by the听.

Step 3:听Initiate听contact听

If these criteria are met, please contact听mcgillabroad [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Establishing%20a%20Student%20Exchange%20Agreement) (麻豆社 Abroad)听and provide the names and titles of the faculty and staff who would be involved in exploring a potential partnership.

Step 4: Partnership development and approval听

Where there is mutual interest, discussions will听proceed听through 麻豆社鈥檚 internal review and approval process. Upon approval, 麻豆社 Abroad will begin formal negotiations of a Student Exchange Agreement with the partner institution.
