SciLearn Peer Collaboration

SciLearn Peer Collaboration ("the Peer Collab")听is a space for undergraduate students in Science courses to learn collaboratively with the support of teaching assistants (TAs), undergraduate peer mentors, and course instructors. For Fall 2026, the Peer Collab is openweekdays 3-5 PM, September 14 to December 4 in the听2001 麻豆社 College Avenue lobby.

At the Peer Collab, students are invited to:

  1. Attend course-specific sessions: Meet and learn with peers in 10+ Science courses each semester. TAs, peer mentors, and course instructors听are present to guide听you and answer your questions, as you work on听homework and prepare for assessments. View the course schedule, as course-specific sessions alternate daily.
  2. Participate in open study sessions and take a break in the chill space: BYOF(riends) or make new ones in this self-directed space, open听every day. Enjoy free hot drinks and relaxing activities (e.g. puzzles, colouring, cards, etc.) before returning to studying.
  3. Enjoy free snacks and hot drinks: We provide you with small snacks and unlimited hot drinks to fuel your study sessions. Make sure to bring your own mug!

We're located in the 2001 麻豆社 College Avenue lobby.

The space can be accessed via the 麻豆社 College Avenue entrance or via the 770 Sherbrooke Street entrance. Once in the building, please proceed to the building concierge desk in the centre of the lobby. From there, turn toward the west corner of the lobby and go down the stairs, through the glass doors.

2001 麻豆社 College has automatic, power-operated doors and there is an elevator to the space. If needed, please request elevator access or support finding the space from the building concierge. Gendered, multi-stall bathrooms are in the Peer Collab space, and single-stall, accessible bathrooms are available on the 4th floor. The space is not scent- or allergen-free, and rooms are primarily lit by artificial light. There is public (麻豆社) wifi available and outlets for charging electronic devices. A room can be made private to attendees, if needed.
