TISED is pleased to announce the establishment of the Rubin and So Foundation Faculty Scholar Award.ÌýThis Award was established through a gift to the Faculty of Engineering and is intended to support the outstanding research innovation efforts of dedicated scholars affiliated with TISED who have demonstrated research achievement and potential in the area of climate change and sustainability.
We congratulate Prof. Xiaozhe Wang and Prof. Agus Sasmito on becoming the inaugural recipients of this award. Prof. Wang’s project will focus on the development of a novel probabilistic paradigm for the resilience evaluation and enhancement of power systems integrating intermittent renewable energy sources, while Prof. Sasmito’s research team will explore renewable seasonal cold energy storage for climate change mitigation and adaptation in industrial cooling and freezing.
